EECMY-DASSC believes in #capacitybuilding and enhancing local institutions and actors for #sustainablepeace. Not just for #reconciliation, but also for #prevention and in place early warning systems. Peacebuilding emanates from the essence of the Commission as a faith-based organization. The primary cause of humanitarian crises the country is experiencing in recent years is the eroded culture of tolerance and peaceful co-existence within the community. EECMY DASSC recognizes that #peace and #humanitarianresponse are inseparable. Under this component, a total of 931, 480 (441, 430 female) community members were addressed with a total annual budget of 704.8 million Birr.
