The EECMY-DASSC Women Empowerment and Inclusive Development Program is introduced as a program in the current 22-26 strategic plan. it consists of four main program components namely #women’sempowerment, #Genderdevelopment, #Advocacy, and #peoplewithspecificneeds (PSN).

Under this component, different capacity-building activities were conducted to improve and ensure the active participation of #women and #girls in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of all development and social service projects. EECMY-DASSC has been creating awareness of gender #equality and bringing women to #leadership and #decision-making position. Gender development is mainstreamed in all the components of the respective Programs.

Gender-specific advocacy activities training has been provided for staff on GBV and on gender justice for community members. EECMY -DASSC recognizes the importance of addressing the specific needs of vulnerable people such as the elderly, women and children including “people with specific needs component in Women Empowerment and Inclusive Development Program.
