The EECMY-DASSC #FoodandNutritionSecurity component mainly targets farmers, pastoralists, Agro-pastoralists, urban and rural communities.

It promotes low external input sustainable agriculture and smallholders' access to seed and other agricultural inputs. It also provides material such as landrace seeds and farm tools; and

technical support for sustainable agriculture, promotes climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies, small scale irrigation schemes and backyard gardening; provides short-term skill training and start-up capital to diversify households’ income and works towards boosting saving culture; and support them in household asset creation.
