EECMY DASSC is launching a project called “Ethiopian Drought Crisis Emergency Response Water Intervention”, “Integrated “Critical Lifesaving Wash, Health, Nutrition, and Food Intervention to Respond to Drought Affected People in Midaga Tolla” and “Humanitarian Eeat Africa (HEA) 221 Drought Response” in Harare, ZM International Hotel. The projects are financed by Christian aid and International Medical Corps (IMC) respectively.
With a total budget of more than 35 million Birr, the projects target about180,600 (110,080 female) drought-affected communities in East Hararge with the provision of potable water, agricultural inputs, and multi-purpose cash distribution for livelihood support. At the launching workshop, representatives of the government line departments from East Hararghe zone, Midaga Toal and Meyu Muluke woredas, and Christian aid and EECMY DASSC participated.
